Joe Rieger with The Elizabeth River Project will present on living and urban shoreline projects, the organization’s living shoreline cost share program, innovative designs, and adaptive management strategies for projects.

The Coastal Restoration Toolkit was developed by Restore America’s Estuaries to provide high‐level, introductory educational information for community members on how to develop a coastal restoration project from concept to proposal.
The Assateague Living Shoreline Project was conceived as an opportunity to implement a dynamic living shoreline in a high-energy environment to address erosion, enhance habitat and provide user-friendly access to the shallow waters of Sinepuxent Bay.
